Good friends and parents sending me off at Penang airport on the 090909
Finally i touched down Maple country on the 090909. Nice number to launch my new life, isn't it? I traveled on the 090909 from Penang (AirAsia, everyone can fly) to Hong Kong, then transit Vancouver (Air Canada) to Ottawa. I reached Ottawa on the 090909, amazing how the difference of time and space on the other part of the world. I am now 12 hours back from Malaysia... interesting.
The weather on the first night was about 14 degrees. quite cold for a Malaysian girl to experience it. anyway, little me still manage to go through that, it's like weather at Cameron highland, no big deal.
HongKong airport, boarding flight to Vancouver
First night, i had nothing for dinner, didn't feel hungry at all. maybe i am too excited about the new move, maybe i am stressed, no idea. i had medication from Hong Kong airport for my heart burn (Chinese translation: wind in my stomach). Luckily i manage to get some sleep on the flight, haha.. too much sleep i would say, some people would be soo jealous of the gift/ability i have got, to be able to sleep any where, yes, literally any where.
See, i told you i can sleep basically everywhere
Waking up for food, like one pink animal
Oh, i watched 3 movies on board and my brain was "vacant", imagine how boring i was
Reaching Vancouver airport
My welcoming present from Sly (Coffee maker and coffee powder)
The aftermath of pehsan's invasion
The next morning, i make myself a simple lunch (toaster bread with peanut and strawberry jam) and i cooked frozen pizza for dinner. Canadian eat a lot of frozen food. i went shopping at Loblaws (hypermarket similar as Tesco or Giant or Carefour). There is one whole section of frozen food, imagine something like women clothes section :s
This was really a new cooking experience for me. Sly making fun of me cooking pizza with toaster oven and making tea in coffee carafe.
Toasted bread with peanut and strawberry jam, served with freshly brewed coffee
The pizza can barely fit in the toaster oven, hahaha..
Nothing wrong to make tea in the coffee kettle
